I am against Florida being a police state. Florida has always been like this, and it is so depressing. I cannot wait to move out of Florida because it oppressing (yes oppressing) to live in a state where the justice system is incompassionate, cold hearted, archaic and reflects the worst stereotypes of law enforcement in our country

BIPOC in particular are at high risk for being victims of this police state and that is wrong

Florida executes the most people in the US. It is sickening

I do not agree with Florida having the death penalty but I am especially against Florida expanding the death penalty to execute child abusers whose acts do not kill a child. That is wrong ,   and it violates international law since it is executing someone for a non murderous offense

I now see Florida as Qatar and LGBTQ people are in a similar position in Florida as they are in Qatar as this death penalty against child abusers in non lethal cases which as noted in the reddit link could lead to a slippery slope. 

Yet I still look at the supposed slippery slope of this Florida executing non lethal child abuser death penalty expansion going further, in the same way that FIFA (when they kept the 2022 World Cup in Qatar) and other pro World Cup in Qatar liberals and leftists looked at having the World Cup in Qatar, a country that has LGBTQ laws that are polar opposite of what FIFA and regressive liberals and regressive lefitsts support

 (like here). 

So similar to the above regressive liberals and regressive left including FIFA supporting Qatar having the World cup despite its LGBTQ laws being the worst on Earth, I similarly look at the slippery slope of Ron Desantis executing child abusers who didn't kill their victim in my own regressive liberal/regressive left way (like the forementioned liberals and leftists including FIFA)who supported Qatar hosting the 2022 World Cup did) . However, unlike the case with regressive liberals and regressive leftists with Qatar hosting the 2022 World Cup, I don't support that death penalty expansion by Ron Desantis which might go further than executed child abusers who didn't kill their victim slippery slope , but I am passively indifferent to it and thus regressive left on it due to that.

Now why, based on my anti death penalty and left wing views would I have this regressive left, passive indifference type of viewpoint toward the supposed slippery slope of the death penalty expansion in Florida beyond executing pedos who do not kill their victims?

Maybe it is because I am getting infected by the cult of Ron Desantis that runs through Florida not only among Republicans but also among almost 40 percent of Democrats in the state.  

This cult of Ron Desantis in Florida spreads as easily in Florida as anti Ron Desantis, pro Anthony Fauci libs believe the virus was fast spreading in Florida after Ron Desantis re-opened Florida and lifted pandemic restrictions in mid to late 2020 and especially in 2021. 

Ron Desantis's love of the death penalty means he officially should change his name to Ron DEATHsantis. He claims to value life of unborn babies but he thinks that child abusers, and murderers should be put to death.  While as noted above there is very limited use for death penalty under international law, I bet nearly all cases where Florida executed someone fell flat of the above UN standard

Ron Desantis is like Napoleon Bonaparte, he has an inferiority complex

Anyway,  I am trying to promote LGBTQ rights in Florida in a way so that evil death penalty expansion by Ron Desantis for non lethal child abuse convictions never is abused to execute other vulnerable groups like LGBTQ people. 

Because if that non lethal child abuser death penalty expansion by Ron Desantis even comes close to being expanded further, it would be such a horrible policy, that it would force the death penalty in Florida to be abolished almost instantly.
