I am glad that there is a silver lining in this horrible tragedy that happened to this congresswoman and her child in that this woke her up to the stupidity and naivenesss of the going soft on crime approach (i.e the senseless Defend the Police movement while it may not be kneejerk and have some research done that research has not been done effectively), no cash bail/ letting criminals out easily, not prosecuting certain crimes etc.
This is because the soft on crime approach I mentioned above caused increases of crime like the crime that befall this woman and her child.
I agree with Angie Craig's tougher on crime approach here https://nypost.com/2023/02/15/rep-angie-craig-calls-for-crackdown-on-repeat-offenders-after-dc-elevator-attack/ and I would love to help her implement these changes.
Philly is undergoing a crime crisis and a progressive, pro neoliberal criminal 'reform' crime denying 'progressive' was sadly murdered by the same criminals he defended and denied the seriousness of the crimes about. It is sad he died but if he helped fight against Philly crime at the very least through fixing the socioeconomic issues which cause such crimes and similar positive approaches (while not being a crime surge denier), he would still be alive today
There is similar stories of radneolib pro soft on crime activists getting mugged and redpilled to our national crime crisis and I will post said examples soon (W.i.p)
