int affairs

I support Pacification in international affairs

I am glad in a twisted way that the US went to war with Iraq from 2003-2012 and Afghanistan from 2001-2012. I love how while I was doing my thing in the US, the US soldiers were in said places each minute doing something for each of said moments.

I love how by fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan our troops got to experience the atmosphere of a weird mix of the Where Brother Art Thou, Industrial used car/Automobile assembly plant, Mickey Speedway USA (especially the Philadelphia, San Francisco, Grand Canyon,  Indianapolis, game menus tracks) , Perth Amboy NJ 1970s-early 2000s, Edison-Metuchen New Jersey 2000s-2010s, Metroid Prime, San Fran October 2009,  Fairway Golf Center disneyish mountainous summer 2000,

Inspector Gadget cartoon, July 4 1987 at Kennedy Park at night, Jurassic Park III scene where William H Macy and Tea Leoni's rescue team gets their weapons ready, Bridgewater Commons Mall early 2000s, Pokemon late 1990s to mid 2000s,  atmospheres (plus the Office Space-Married w Children-Oil refinery/Woodbridge Twp NJ 1980s 1990s industrial atmosphere fused with above atmospheres) which they could only get in the Middle East by going to war in said places in combat type roles

Elon Musk has a point and I agree with his take here on WWIII https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/10/elon-musk-we-are-sleepwalking-our-way-world/

As a leftist I support peace and thus I support Ukraine and Russia trying to end their conflict via diplomatic ways, and i feel the same way with the Israel-Palestine (NOT HAMAS) conflict too. As a leftist I am anti violence so I support diplomatic ends to wars as such

I want world peace, the type that Michael Jackson sung about in his song Heal the World. I sing this song via this text here echoing its message and literallyhere https://soundcloud.com/jayse688/heal-the-world-michael-jackson-single?si=04883729c63a4e9c8261b4158af1fc12&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing.

Any conflict or act of violence I am against (besides death freaks me out as does violence and I am instinctively and more than 100 percent Anti Torture as torture fries my brain with how evil, brutal, sick and twisted it is)

Instead of trying to defund the police we need to instead defund the Military-Industrial Complex and Surveillance State to make everyone happier and more free

I support defunding the military industry complex and the Surveillance State (w.i.p)

I agree with progressforthepeople and this reddit thread on this and this reddit thread too

This article provides some good insight into this, as does the articles here (W.I.P more added later)

Dwight Eisenhower was correct in his condemnation of the military industry complex

This LI article talks of a 'brown scare' going on today like in the past. I am researching the validity of it and can use help from leftists and libs to help me see if it is correct or a trash piece

This article provides good insight and context on the 'logic' of US foreign policy, also see here for more

This marine is a pedo and he should go to prison for many many years. We need to prevent these types of sickos from joining our armed forces. Pedos are a threat to our children and must be stopped

China

China has a hell of a lot work to do to even begin to be more of a free country. I like how they are countering Western imperialism and globalism but there has to be more good to that place than just that if we are to see them succeed in becoming a country as free and peaceful as European countries, the US (relatively) etc. See here for more

"According to Mark Milley, Mike Pompeo was among the Donald Trump staffers who was aware of his January 8, 2021 phone call to Chinese general Li Zuocheng (in which Milley stated that he would inform the CCP in the event of a pre-emptive attack by the United States). If this statement is true, then Pompeo essentially was aware of a seditious, borderline treasonous act by a high-ranking general, and did nothing to inform President Trump about that act"  OMG Mark Milley is BASED! Well Conpedia if this is true then I am glad that Mark Milley notified Li Zuocheng of any planned pre-emptive attacks by the US on China. This is because it is refreshing to see US state apparatus western neocon hawks like Mark Milley support one of their supposed biggest enemies China. It proves Milley isn't a western neocon hawk and that he sympathizes with China or even knows that all the western lies about China are misguided information

If Mark Milley is willing to aid the China military and CCP ,maybe China isn't as bad as we thought. This is why sadly Milley was fired. He is a victim of the deep state neocon putsch.  I support this mostly because as the MSM points out, Mark Milley was forced to this to prevent a deranged Donald Trump starting an unprovoked and deadly war with China

I am glad that Joe Biden is using diplomacy with Xi Jinping in late 2023. Jinping has said he can bring peace to Israel-Palestine , if it wasn't for Pastor Hagee's prediction that the antichrist would give Israel-Palestine a 7 year peace before going after Israel with China, I would praise Jinping for his ambitious peaceful Israel-Palestine plan (unlike leftist Lee Fang, I am more open to Pastor Hagee's ideas on Israel-Palestine but I don't mean open as on tour open)

RobSmith from Conservapedia posted this exert and if a hardcore GOP Republican neocon like him sees this quote as OK I have to stand by him and view it that way. also At worst this quote is an insight into the BRICs grievances with the US and its imperialist, manifest destiny Wilson doctrine neoliberal globalization machine https://too320902309blogsecondsection.blogspot.com/2023/11/vuttttt.html

Here is some context overload and some of my realism on the Russia-Ukraine conflict in the broader scope of world affair

Russia-Ukraine

If Russia has caused the US to be polarized and divided over the last decade as many have said, then 1) thank God this happened due to external reasons not internal 2) We need to take out Russia to unite our country again

If you want a site which provides truly independent and propaganda free coverage and analysis of the Russia-Ukraine war you can find it here, also see here for a 2023 update

The Russian invasion of Ukraine was not unprovoked but in fact provoked, but I don't think it was really justified and I think Russia overreacted. I agree with this article on this here

I can learn to be ok with John Kennedy (R-LA) and Krysten Sinema's USA Today op-ed idea in June to be ok with US assistance to Ukraine while I still call for an independent auditor to provide transparency to taxpayers about the funding.

I agree with this quote: “Ukraine is not without flaws. We’ve heard several unsettling reports of bad actors exploiting our generosity,”John Kennedy and Krysten Sinema wrote. “Some of our costly weapons have ended up in black markets. And corrupt officials have tried to line their own pockets.”

Rather than “a patchwork of watchdogs” at the Pentagon, State Department and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Kennedy and Sinema advocated for a single inspector general— similar to the one appointed in 2008 to oversee Afghanistan spending.

Some good takes on Russia-Ukraine that I sympathize with can be found  here, here, here, here

If and when Mike Pence says that Ukraine is persecuting Christians and condemns them for it I will follow suit and join Pence in that condemnation of Ukraine

I am fine with Joe Biden giving non stop aide to Ukraine during this Ukraine-Russia war . Joe Biden is being extorted by Ukraine over him and his son Hunter's dirty deals and that is why he is sending Ukraine so much aide. Thus I am fine with Joe Biden aiding Ukraine like that since it is for non neocon, non warmonger reasons, non liberal-non woke reasons (i.e for him to avoid having him and his son Hunter exposed by Ukraine for their dirty deals there)

Great takes on Russia-Ukraine in this thread (including Emma Vigeland and Sam Seder's takes on Ukraine-Russia), I particularly support Emma's takes (and AJW's takes) on Ukraine-Russia here

and especially Sam Seder's views on Russia-Ukraine

The so called and alleged terminally online 'pro-Putin Westerners' (i.e tankies) would've definitely supported (or at least been neutral to) Addie H1tJ3r in WWII if they were alive back then

Seriously, such so called and alleged terminally online 'pro-Putin Westerners' (i.e tankies) if they were around back in the 1930s and 1940s would have done so to be contrarians as they do today by supposedly and allegedly 'supporting' (or being neutral to Russia)

These so called and alleged terminally online 'pro-Putin Westerners' (i.e tankies)  if they were alive back then would have said things like "the Allies provoked A.H with the Treaty of Versailles" (like they do today by saying that NATO provoked Russia)  and "the Poles, France, UK, Soviet Union and Internationalist Judeo Bolsheviks are just as bad as Germany"

So I guess the entirety of the third world are now the modern equivalent of naughtizes because they don't want to be under the boot of the children of naughtize collaborators (NATO)

so called and alleged terminally online 'pro-Putin Westerners' (i.e tankies)

Moreover,so called and alleged terminally online 'pro-Putin Westerners' (i.e tankies) would've also supported Voldemort, the Empire in Star Wars, the Harkonnens .So it is no surprise they don't support Ukraine since Ukraine are the Na'vi, Han Solo etc

The great epic between good and evil is happening right now and in real life with the good (Ukraine) battling the bad (Mother Russia)  LET's Win this war UKRAINE!!! Let's give Ukraine some Mutual aide support!

Though maybe it wouldn't be contrarianism on why so called and alleged terminally online 'pro-Putin Westerners' (i.e tankies)   if they were around in the 1930s would have supported A.H and his naughtize goons but in fact the pseudo race science that would done so since they don't call tankies red fascists for nothing

[–]pigeonstrudel 6 points 3 months ago

Russians are being slaughtered countlessly, both sides have reported the fact. Russia fights defeatist wars and repeats itself a lot. The moral and right point would be peace talks and a quick end, but I don’t consider this a pro West vs. pro Russia thing, that’s actually the propaganda honestly.

(sort of true or at least understandable: "Neutrality in some matters, is the most dangerous viewpoint."

Well, if the US had taken a more neutral stance, the Ukrainians wouldn't be going to the Indians to broker a peace/armistice treaty with the Russians

In WWII I would’ve used my skill set to compromise A.H and his goons to bring them to a permanent end by the mid 1930s to prevent WWII from happening (but the 1930s was a few decades before I was born thus I couldn't stop him then)

The so called CIA/NATO proxy war in Ukraine is the most dissent-free war of any in my lifetime, including Iraq. With Tucker thankfully fired, corporate media is close to 100% united behind Joe Biden's military industrial complex without even the slightest criticism of even giving unlimited aide to refusing to set up peace talks between Ukraine and Russia

That's not healthy for anyone. And it's thus impossible to be informed without independent media.

I am against Joe Biden sending cluster bombs to Ukraine. I echo the articles here, here and here which also reflect my views on this

But but but, the comments below on the politics subreddit thread on cluster bombs does ease some of my concerns on the US sending cluster bombs to Ukraine , like these points in particular which I agree with:

"If Ukraine wants to use them on its own land in order to help save its own land then who are we to throw up a moral huff?

Cos we're supplying them with the bombs.

Give them what they want

I don't think we should just do that. We're not Ukraine's armory. I think the US can be an ally to Ukraine in this war but we shouldn't just rubber stamp any and every request they make."

"I’m far from an expert, so feel free to squash the hell out of this.

But if the US is willing to cross certain lines because ending the war asap is more important than how we help end the war…

…then why don’t we just give Ukraine the no-fly zone/air superiority that they want over Ukrainian airspace and the Black Sea? That’ll help end things real fast.

Or even just establish an area within Ukraine that’s currently uncontested that the US will provide air superiority and air defense capability for - thus allowing Ukrainian personnel and equipment to focus on the contested areas of their country.

Putin’s gonna whine about “escalation” no matter what. We’ve (rightly) thrown our lot in with Ukraine, but seem to dance around some pretty arbitrary limitations on our involvement, while blatantly crossing others (if this cluster bombs decision goes ahead).

Again, please put me in my place if I deserve it."

"Giving Ukraine a no fly zone means NATO shooting down russian jets.

"If that happens NATO has entered a war with Russia. Russia will bomb airfields and anti-air guns in Poland.

"We're not actively participating to keep the war in Ukraine. No-one wants missiles hitting Krakow.

It's a careful balancing act of giving Ukraine enough to win and not become a new russian staging point/buffer state but also not poking Russia so much they start treating Poland as a legitimate target."

"We are staying out of the war as nearly all countries are. At this point, it isn't our war. But we can supply aid; weapons & $. It's a 2 sided approach, but not nefarious. We supply munitions to help a sovereign nation defend themselves. But we aren't in the war, being a nation with nuclear weapons. Once we enter, the use of nukes by Russia skyrockets. If a nuclear power joins Ukraine and sends troops, Putin has reason (even if it's just his paranoid delusions), has a justification for using nukes. It's actually a pretty simple view of things that 100% accurate."

I do not share Mike Pence's neocon, over the top imperialistic views on Ukraine. I link to some views critical of Pence's views I agree with here

I will conditionally in the future agree with everything Tucker Carlson said in this video about the Ukraine-Russia war along with most other things too (I part with Tucker over Tucker wrongly thinking that Joe Biden shouldn't support his son in this struggle since I am on team ABC on that one issue but I agree with Tucker's views on the seriousness of the Biden corruption). But only after I force Tucker to become a left winger.

See, I hate Tucker Carlson and I hope he becomes bankrupt and gets what QT had in 2gether. I promise on my mother Debbie's life that I will hunt that fascist Fuckerhead down and I will literally deradicalize him and literally reprogram Tucker Carlson to be culturally/socially left wing and economically left wing.  I really want to do this and I will bribe Nomiki Kunst, Anya Parampil (except on trans issues), Chuck Schumer, Emily Gorcienski to help me turn Tucker leftward.   But until then I disavow this video

If we are gonna call Vladimir Putin a 'dictator' then by that very definition it is unavoidable that we must call Volodmyr Zelensky a dictator also since Zelensky's actions during his country's war with Ukraine is by the book (though let's book burn and give Zelensky a pass?) anti Democratic, dictatorial, authoritarian (or 'extremely hands on'), tyrannical and if the war doesn't end soon the way Volodmyr desires we can add totalitarianism to that list (something even Russia doesn't do since they at least pretend to have elections every few years even during wars). But whatever if Ukraine doing that stuff is what 'Liberal Democracy' looks like then maybe 'Liberal Democracy' is based and savage

I will also add more stories of Volodmyr Zelensky's draconian anti democracy, autocratic actions during this war from other sources on the left or liberal side like from Glenn Greenwald, Ben Norton, Aaron Mate etc. Don't worry I know they fluff up Russia and Putin but that doesn't mean they aren't telling the truth at least partly. I use their narratives to give an idea of what I am conveying not what they are conveying so to speak.

Grayzone and Greenwald being pro Russia is evident more by them refusing to show how Russia is just as bad if not worse than the west and Ukraine than them pointing out the hard truth about Ukraine being corrupt and the west being as bad as they say they are . So W.I.P

I respect Boris Nemtsov (I supported and still support the Dissenters marches) even though I don't always agree with him . If he was alive today his views on this Russia-Ukraine conflict would be invaluable and really provide a unique intelligent and much needed perspective on this conflict

I support Ukraine joining NATO, now that Russia occupying Ukraine, Ukraine needs to be allowed to join NATO to turn this war around and protect themselves better. This is how you support and help Ukraine the truly

It is so sad that NATO /US and the West are wrongly turning on Ukraine and wrongly throwing Ukraine under the bus. Unlike NATO/US/West I will keep supporting the Ukranian people against whatever problems personally and as a country they face etc.

The US, NATO and west wrongly see Ukraine as a chess piece and not as living breathing people who along with their President VZ are being pawns in a proxy war between the US/NATO and Russia. I hope VZ wises up to this, he was very good in terms of this until the US/NATO and the west got their mitts into him a few years ago and changed him.

It says something when the West, US and NATO fail to respect their allies like Ukraine who have been nothing but loyal to them. It shows that the West, US and NATO are not as clean as they make it out to be. Ukraine shouldn't need to fulfill conditions to be a member of NATO. With NATO expanded as west as it is and the cat out of the bag (Russian invasion in Ukraine) Ukraine might as well join NATO now.

If Ukraine is not allowed to join NATO then what is the point of NATO? How can it have all those countries but exclude Ukraine? That isn't right and that is unfair to Ukraine.

I echo this based quote by VZ: "It’s unprecedented and absurd when [a] time frame is not set neither for the invitation nor for Ukraine’s membership. While at the same time vague wording about ‘conditions’ is added even for inviting Ukraine."

"“We value our allies. We value our shared security. And we always appreciate an open conversation. Ukraine will be represented at the NATO summit in Vilnius. Because it is about respect. But Ukraine also deserves respect,” Zelensky said in a statement on social media. "

“That’s the problem. I mean, when will those conditions be met? What are those conditions? Who should formulate them? What are they?” the diplomat asked.

He noted that the Ukrainian leadership and NATO have a “fundamentally different” approach to the issue of Kiev’s membership.

“Once again, our stance is that all conditions are already in place for inviting Ukraine to become a member of NATO… Their stance is that there are some conditions that must be met,” he said.

I agree with duffmanhb's take on Russia-Ukraine:

https://www.reddit.com/user/duffmanhb/  stu

"I went to school for IR, worked in politics, follow it from a high level, and cited and argued from the perspective of the west's top Russian diplomatic advisor -- who's entire job is to be the west's leader on research and understanding Russia, so we never make the mistakes again of miscalculating their thought process due to western biases. The top of the food chain the west goes to when they teach diplomats and go to when they need factual realistic insight. He argued that basically, yeah, clearly NATO has been creeping into Russia's sphere of influence, has given Russia reasons to not be trust the west, and the west is ideologically inconsistent based on convenience when it comes to Euro-Russian relations. That even IF you don't personally believe these to be true, which he does, at the very least, this is how Russians genuinely perceives the west."

I support Henry Kissinger and former heads of the CIA's views on Russia above

This thread on reddit features some great back and forth and debate on the moral absolutism on Russia's invasion of Ukraine

I am against hospitals in Russia allowing people to smoke in their hospitals. By allowing smoking in hospitals, Russia is cutting 10+ years off the lives of their citizens. Smoking in hospitals in Russia has contributed to the life expectancy in Russia lowering to below most countries on Earth's level.  Smoking in hospitals causes some of the worst health effects on people at said hospitals possible

I am going to force Ukranian soliders to go to each hospital in Russia to force every hospital in Russia to ban smoking forever . I will force Ukraine to always station multiple Ukranian soliders in every hospital in Russia forever to ban all smoking at said hospitals. If this doesn't work, I will find a way to destroy every hospital in Russia that allows smoking. I am serious and no one can stop me. checkmate bro

I echo this Tweet below by Congressman Jamaal Bowman (D-NY):

Congressman Jamaal Bowman

@RepBowman

We need diplomatic solutions, not endless war. Glad my man

@RepChipRoy

and I found something we could agree on!

I agree with this Tweet below:

At the height of the Cold War, my uncle John F. Kennedy exchanged 26 highly personal letters with the Soviet Premier, Nikita Khrushchev. In his first letter, Krushchev told my uncle that the earth is an ark – we need to preserve it. Through this correspondence, my uncle and Khrushchev realized that they both wanted peace, but that they were surrounded by an intelligence apparatus and by military brass who considered war not only inevitable, but desirable. Sixty years later, my goals are the same. To move beyond simplistic, “us versus them” thinking, to talk to our adversaries, and to preserve this beautiful ark. When America takes the first steps toward peace, we will once again become a true world leader and true moral authority.

Most Americans are against further funding for Ukraine and so I am just reflecting that view here, most Democrats privately are against continuing funding of this war and even uniparty Republicans are turning against this war.  I am reflecting those attitudes here

I believe both of these points in this link are correct and valid (but the first one is more correct and valid than the second one)

I love how Glenn Greenwald owned his haters in this post (but I also love how that guy managed to accuse Glenn of being pro Putin in said post too)
