Capitalism and communism are similar in both being economic systems that offer a vision of a utopian material future for all if they are allowed to be realized in pure form.

Capitalist has small businesses,  but with Communism instead you would have a place in the community run by the community and/or designated workers to fill out these certain needs. They would be regulated by the customers ie the community to keep it in good quality and also has worker co ops

Both capitalism and communism ultimately face the same problem. Too many resources in the hands of too few, which leads to the exploitation of the masses.

Both Capitalism and Communism encourage individualism

Communuism is entered around common ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange that allocates products to everyone in the society based on need, while Capitalism has trickle down/voodoo economics and is where people at the bottom can quit their job and start their own small business to be at the top
